SGP Week: Using labour market intelligence in portfolio development

This session is part of the HESPA Showcasing Good Practice Week 2023. The aim of this week is to provide a space for our members to share with each other the work they have done which they feel has been a particular success, and to celebrate and promote the hard work of planners in the HE sector.

In this session, the University of Derby will be sharing an overview of their programme approval process and the data required to inform this. The session will also explore how the University of Derby has used Lightcast's services to help with this, including:

  • A look at Lightcast's pre-set labour market reports and what they contain.
  • A case study of using Lightcast labour market intelligence for portfolio development.
