There has recently been increased scrutiny of transnational education and of franchised arrangements both in the UK and globally, with the focus of attention particularly on quality of delivery.
Liz Bunn (Deputy Director (Academic Quality Assurance)) and Cath Parry (Registrar (Quality Assurance)) from Coventry University, which is one of the UK’s larger providers of TNE, will talk about the various forms of TNE delivery the university is and is not engaged in, and the challenges of gaining assurance on quality compliance, particularly with the increased involvement of the OfS in this area of education.
