The in-year Student data programme is a coordinated set of projects that focus on one shared aim: to implement In-year Student Data programmes that give us reliable, timely student data that helps providers, regulators, funders and other data users make better decisions during the academic year.
On July 30th 2026, HESA published the Notification of Changes for both reference periods of the 2028/29 in-year Student data collection.
In conjunction with the Student Records Officers' Conference (SROC), HESPA is offering an opportunity to engage with members of HESA. This event will present the contents of the Notification of Changes and will give attendees a chance to pose initial questions to members of the In-year return programme board.
We know that many members may not have had time to fully digest the contents of the Notification. This event is intended as an initial engagement, to help you understand the progress and direction of the programme. We will host a second event later in 2026 when community discussions have identified detailed points to address.
Speakers: Rachel Wilkes, Head of Collections Development (HESA), other speakers tbc.
